Being creative has always been a part of my life. It keeps me going and the ideas never stop! For 9 years I had worked as a Layout Artist (& manager) for an educational textbook publisher. This taught me how to create press-ready documents in Quark, FrameMaker and InDesign. I am also familiar with XML. Content Management systems, Photoshop and Illustrator. I have created business stationary packages, edited various types of files, and designed catalogs and brochures.

These are samples from the Prentice Hall Literature Penguin Edition series that I had Managed in 2005-06. There are 7 grade levels and 7 state customizations that were completed within deadline for this project. Created in FrameMaker, these books utilized an XML workflow and included a 5th place color for the state specific customization. In order to complete this series, I had dealt with vendor relations, in-house teams, inter-department meetings and resolving issues for maximum efficiency.
